Bryan Garcia, 19, of Lenox was charged with public intoxication and minor in possession of alcohol 1:30 a.m. Aug. 10 in Lenox.

According to a Lenox Police report, officers responded to a call in the 100 block of East Kansas Street. While at the location, a man identified as Garcia walked up to officers and began telling officers how drunk he was. Officers agreed with Garcia and charged him. Garcia was transported to Taylor County Jail.

Garcia was released on $465 bond.

Holly Oliphant, 40, of Lenox was charged with child endangerment 7:30 p.m. Aug. 11 in Lenox.

According to a Lenox Police report, Oliphant’s charges stem from an investigation into an alleged incident 2:30 p.m. Aug. 11, during which Oliphant was driving at speeds over 100 miles per hour and swerving on the road with a juvenile in the vehicle. When they arrived in Lenox, the juvenile took the keys to the vehicle in an attempt to prevent Oliphant from driving. Witnesses say Oliphant then attempted to slash the juvenile with a knife while attempting to retrieve the keys. Oliphant was charged at Lenox Police Department and transported to Taylor County Jail.

A charge of operating a vehicle under the influence of narcotics is pending the outcome of chemical testing.

Oliphant was being held on $10,000 bond.

Michael Hartley, 26, of Lenox was charged with driving while suspended 7 p.m. Thursday in Lenox.

According to a Lenox Police report, officers observed a vehicle at the intersection of Brooks and Van Buren streets being operated by Hartley. Officers knew Hartley had a suspended driver’s license. The vehicle was stopped and Hartley was charged. Hartley was transported to Taylor County Jail.

Hartley was held on $566.25 bond.

Loret Yzaguirre, 35, of Lenox was charged with driving while suspended 7:20 p.m. Friday in Lenox.

According to a Lenox Police report, officers observed a Chevrolet Tahoe southbound on Brooks Street. The vehicle was stopped for equipment violations. The driver was identified as Yzaguirre. It was determined Yzaguirre’s driver’s license was suspended. He was charged and transported to Taylor County Jail.

Yzaguirre was being held on $1,000 bond.
