Michael Lee Schwieters, 24, of Lorimor was charged on a Union County warrant for second-offense criminal mischief 6:40 a.m. Sunday at 306 N. Sycamore St.

According to a Creston Police report, Schwieters was reported at 307 N. Spruce St. banging on a door. The next day, the residents reported they had damage to the rear door of the residence. The residents said the damage was caused by Schwieters from the previous night. He also damaged a bush in the yard. The estimate from the insurance totaled $1,092 in damages. Schwieters was earlier charged with public intoxication.

Schwieters was being held on $5,000 bond.

Austin Reb Eblen, 17, 3043 150th St., was referred to juvenile authorities for fifth-degree theft.

Eblen was released to his parents.

Cathy Jean Dryden, 519 New York Ave., reported two hubcaps were taken from her vehicle while it was parked at her residence between 10:30 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday.

Loss estimate is $90.
