On May 1, National Day of Prayer will be observed all across the country in homes, churches and prayer centers. According to 1 Timothy 2:1-8 and 2 Chronicles 7:14, the Bible exhorts people to make prayer for those in authority a priority.
In conjunction with this, the Eagles Nest House of Prayer, 107 N. Maple St., Creston, will have a special prayer service at 7 p.m. The Rev. Dave and Maryls McPherson will be leading this time. They currently serve in Lamoni.
